Handmade 100% wool felt necklace by artist Heather McDonald. Made up of individually hand made layered felt squares, stacked on top of each other and hand strung to create a unique sculptural necklace.

inspiration:
“Inspired from my surrounds albeit the built environment or nature, I am drawn to the geometry and tactility found within these two settings ~ the order of the shape and the apparent randomness of the material, I begin to explore how these apparent juxtaposing elements may play on our memory, stirring nostalgia through the tactility and the visual rhythm found in each piece.”

100% wool crimson red felt, silver chain. Handmade in Australia.

dimensions:
Each square measures approx. 2x2cm (0.8x0.8”), with the length of all stacked squares combined measuring approx. 27cm (10.6”). The total length of the necklace including chain measures approx. 56cm (22”).
