Artist Keir Sarna lives in Samford Valley, Queensland, just 20 minutes drive from Brisbane CBD. She draws most of her inspiration from this beautiful part of the country, where there is an abundance of wildlife and gorgeous scenery.

"My work has been described as colourful, vibrant and full of life, with almost a child like perspective of the world and the subconscious, conveyed through to application. From an early age I began experimenting with and was fascinated by all different aspects of the visual arts. The passion to create has evolved through the use of many different mediums and surfaces resulting in individual expression in my paintings, drawings and photography."

"My artworks include a range of charcoal, oil pastel drawings, oil and acrylic paintings with particular emphasis on capturing distinctive elements of the human face to convey a mood within the artwork. Most recently I have grown accustom to acrylic paint for its qualities are aiding the development of my own unique style and technique. My technical abilities were fine-tuned through my studies towards a fine arts diploma along with tutoring in figure drawing by an internationally renown artist."
