About TINY CONCEPT

TINY CONCEPT
Udessi artist

Artist Tina Snerling is the founder and creator of the Tiny Concept label. Mother of 2 little ones, Tina's professional background is in fashion design, completing her Advanced Diploma of Fashion Design and becoming Head Designer for a childrenswear label.

She now spends her days playing and laughing with her 2 children and creating her exquisite hand made dolls.

"My obsession for dolls began with the first doll my mother made for me. After having my little girl, I began creating dolls for her and my obsession was rekindled. I draw inspiration from beautifully made dresses of the past and give them a modern twist."

Each of Tina's dolls is unique and created using vintage laces, duchess satins, crystal beading, layers of chiffon or Japanese silks. Some dolls can take over 100 hours to complete with many details painstakingly hand stitched. Each 'girl' has a personality of her own, with a little bit of the artist as well!

Tina says she loves to source materials from vintage clothing to French lace, as well as searching every fabric store from Brisbane to Europe – which is very evident from her overflowing vintage wardrobe in her gorgeous light-filled studio!

The Tiny Concept label is growing at a rapid pace with Tina's dolls being in high demand across the globe. Her dolls showcase amazing attention to detail and extraordinary craftsmanship, which combined with Tina's passion and love for creating them, makes these dolls truly special, heirloom pieces.
