Udessi is an online boutique gallery and the new home of independent Australian art.
By bringing together both established and emerging Australian artists to showcase and sell their works, Brisbane-based curator Kim Wallace has achieved her goal of providing a unique shopping experience to those who value quality and originality. Designed to inspire and impress, each piece has been created by those with a passion for their craft and a unique perspective.
About Kim Wallace
Udessi.com.au is owned and run by Kim Wallace, a graphic designer and artist born and raised in the Netherlands who now calls Brisbane home. Simultaneously inspired by the plethora of quality Australian artists and frustrated by the lack of exposure for their work, Kim decided to offer them a platform and founded the Udessi online gallery.

Udessi on hold
We’re very sad to announce that due to unforeseen personal circumstances, we have decided to close down our online gallery temporarily.
Of course this has not been an easy decision, after all the hard work we have put into our dream over the last couple of years. We are so very proud of what we have achieved in such a short space of time, and the journey has been incredible.
Thank you
We cannot express our gratitude enough for the support we have received from our Australian artists that have so enthusiastically joined Udessi and provided our customers with such a unique shopping experience. When we started this journey, we had no idea how many amazing people & friends we would meet, and their messages of support during this difficult time have truly blown us away.
To our customers, your response to the handmade pieces in our collection has been both amazing and humbling at the same time. We have loved sending out countless parcels of lovingly made items and receiving so many wonderful emails in return about your thrill of unwrapping them!
To the press that have so generously featured Udessi, our artists or my own work ~ a couple of years ago I could have never imagined that I’d see myself or my business pop up in some of my very favourite magazines! Your support for handmade & small businesses in general is incredible and what will make the our industry not only prevail, but thrive over mass-produced, imported goods.
To family & friends that have joined us on our exciting journey and supported us every step of the way, you are all amazing and we love you to bits! You mean the world to us.
What’s next for Udessi?
This is certainly not the end of Udessi. When the time is right ~ we will be back! Our passion for handmade Australian art is growing each and every day, with the discovery of more amazing Australian talent, new works & designs. We have many more dreams for Udessi and hope to one day achieve all of these. If you haven’t already, please subscribe to our newsletter and we will keep you posted with any developments.
For now we need to spend invaluable time with those most important to us. Wherever you are in the world, we hope you do the same and enjoy each and every day together…
